Used these to run a printer from a MAC in another room. Already had a RJ45 feed between the rooms. Plugged these in and the printer into one side and the computer into the other and the printer worked great. Another review thought I might need a PoE injector but the printer worked just fine without on. Perhaps that would not be the case with a longer CAT-6 run, but the run here was only three feet.
