This cable's defining feature is the ability to self-coil via a magnetic jacket, and I will confirm that this works pretty much perfectly. If you wrap the cable around in a circular coil (helix), each round will stick to the one before and there is no need to bind or wrap the cable in any way to keep it secure. The construction other than that is standard, if high quality - a braided nylon jacket which flexes well without feeling flimsy and Type-C connectors which attach with a nice click.I tested this with a Thinkpad P14s G4 (7840U) and Lenovo Thunderbolt 3 dock which seem to work just fine using one 1080p monitor and Ethernet/USB - there haven't been any display problems or complaints from the laptop that it's charging slowly. I am not sure precisely how much a 20Gbps cable like this should be able to handle in terms of screen count/resolution, but considering the original TB3 cable is rated for 40Gbps I'm just happy it connects properly at all. I'm excited to carry this along in my laptop bag and see if it continues to work this well.
