I sent it back and got the Apple drive for my MacBook Pro. The outer packaging of this ultralight portable drive was a little beat up, as if it wasn’t handled with care in the factory. The dvd drive itself felt fragile and super light, reminded me of a plastic toy. The adapter for the MacBook was packaged in a way that looked like it was put in at the last minute. I gave it a chance and put a dvd in. At first I was pleased despite the lack of quality but quickly realized that if I paused the DVD player and came back later to press play, the dvd would start over. Fast forwarding wasn’t great. Sometimes the dvd would stop and restart. I tried for a week but decided to send it back. I got the Apple drive for my MacBook and Have not had any issues. This is one of those “I got what I paid for moments”I bought this unit because it said it worked with a Chromebook in the description. Perhaps I mis-read, but it does not. It worked fine with my Lenovo at work, but I was disappointed it would not work with my Chromebook. Decent quality, but does not seem like it will last very long. Time would tell. I would not buy again unless it was on sale.I'm using this for listening to audio books, it's wonderfulGreat drive for a great priceLove this!! I use it in my classroom every day!!Used with a PC to burn MP3s old-school.I like the clean design and it works well.the recorder works great for my computer no complainsjust take it with you anywhere you need it, plug in the attached USB cable and play.
