I turned on my switch, plugged, the usb-c cord it came with into the swich (then into the box) and plugged the box into my extension cable. It charged really well as a regular wall charger. Then I plugged in the HDMI into my roku TV then into the box and it took a few seconds to register (my reg nintendo doc had the same problem). Some times it will say it isn't connected when you click the HDMI on the roku, that is just an issue with my reg switch. it did the same thing with the reg doc on my tv and hotel TV's, so nothing new there.As we are going on vacation in October, we wanted a longer usb-c cord than what was provided. Some hotels suck at TV, desk/table, and wall plug placements. So we bought a longer one online. the other brand only charged and refused to connect to TV no matter what I did. The switch acted like it was connecting, but the TV wasnt registering it. I spent hours trying to get it to work. I then tried a few other brands of USB -C that we own and nothing worked. Only the cord it came with. IO do not know if it was programed this way or what, but it really sucks. I will just get a longer HDMI and/or extension cord instead. Its no deal breaker for me I just wish it could do that as the USBC may need to be replaced at some point and I do not want to spend another $50 on another doc system just to get the usbc cord. I am going to see if the brand sells the usbc it used seperate. If not, I may contact the company at a later date to find out how to buy the cord seperately.Overall AMAZING compact product that works well with a regular, not OLED, switch. Also, the one I am reviewing is the 65W (blue and red)
